Independent Reading Book
For my independent reading book, I am reading The First Days by Rhiannon Frater. I have not started reading it yet but it looks promising. It is set in Texas during the zombie apocalypse and is about two women, named Katie and Jenni, who are trying to survive. They are total strangers but quickly become close as they learn how to work together. Finally, Katie and Jenni set out to find and rescue Jenni's oldest son and find a town where the plague hasn't reached yet. But, on their journey to reach their goals they will run into and will have to overcome many obstacles that stand in their way.

ReplyDeleteThis book seems very interesting and action packed. I love the hit tv show, "The Walking Dead" wich is about the zombie apocalypse but i have never read a book about it. I feel like the author will have a lot of room for good characterization because there are only 2 main charcters. I hope you enjoy it and I might consider checking it out.

ReplyDeleteI think anything about zombies is interesting. Really how can a story with zombies not be suspenseful? I also enjoy The Walking Dead tv show. This sounds like a great book that I want to read and you did a good job summarizing it.
